FAQ
How long will my new hair system last?
Hair Systems are not intended to last forever. Without the body's natural oils to protect it, human hair will eventually become drier and more brittle. On average, you will need a new hair system every three - six months or so. Some people replace their hair system every year and some every month. It is truly a personal decision. The newer the hair system, the more vibrant the hair will be. Now with the more affordable options provided available it is best to replace as often as your budget allows.
When will I receive my new hair system?
We have 3 options available. Standard option is about 4 to 6 weeks..Rush option you should receive in just 3-4 weeks..and those who really need a unit badly we offer a "super rush" which allows you to receive your custom unit in just 2-3 weeks. We take great pride in our expedited service. If you have a special need for a super rush unit, in many cases we can modify a stock unit and receive it the next day (U.S. only).
Can I really do this myself?
YES & YES. If I can do it you can do it. If you want to save money, get a better quality hair systems and not be binding to others, get rid of your high price, low quality hair club. Learn to do it yourself - we will help. It is easy. There is nothing magical about doing it yourself. You can either have us cut it for you, learn to cut it yourself, or go to a local salon for $10 - $30.
Can you copy my existing unit exactly?
Absolutely! Send it to us and we’ll be glad to have it duplicated exactly. You can even specify changes in base material, hair color, hair density, etc.
Will the base materials match my skin color?
Our laces and skins are transparent, allowing your natural skin tone to show through. Even if you tan during the summer, the base will remain invisible. Some of our systems do offer different color bases and we would be happy to accomodate. However, we do have different color bases for those who may feel they need. Please inquire with us.
How to "detangle" your hair system
You will need the following Clorox bleach, ammonia, cloth towel, 3 gallons of water, wide spaced tooth brush items.
Add 1 gallon of hot tap water to your sink
Add ¼” cup of Clorox bleach.
Mix these together
Place hair piece in the Clorox solution base side down.
Brush the hair from back to front.
Brush no more that 1.5 minutes. (Warning never, never leave the hair system in the bleach solution more than 2 minutes as this could remove the color from the hair.)
Rinse the hair system in water.
Wash out all the Clorox solution from sink.
Add another one gallon of tap water
Add ¼ cup of Ammonia
Mix together well
Place hair system base down and brush again as you did before.
In a minute all the tangle should be removed.
Drain sink again and clean.
Rinse the hair piece and clean the sink.
Lay the hairpiece base side down on a cloth towel and press the water out.
Now you can blow dry and style you tangle free hair system as you normally do.
Do not eliminate any of the above steps..
Do not directly mix Clorox or Ammonia (Can cause a chemical reaction)
